Dear Parents and Guardians, We have so many exciting things happening here at school. CCA is having a candy contest October 19-23. Students can bring in candy for the Trunk or Treat to be held on October 31, 3-5 pm. Candy may be brought in any day next week. At the end of the week, the candy will be weighed and the class bringing in the most candy (average pounds per student) will have a cider and doughnuts party the following week. Dear Parents and Caregivers, Central Christian Academy is providing you with free at-home access to Age of Learning online learning programs ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ while our school is closed. These research-based educational programs include thousands of digital learning activities, and they can help preschool, pre-k, elementary, and middle school students keep learning while classes are not meeting on-site. Central Christian Academy is so thankful to have music back in our school program this year. Psalm 100:1 says, "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" Mr. Landon Gray will be teaching music weekly to the students of CCA. He has great plans for age-appropriate learning that will include percussion, reading music, playing the recorder and hopes to develop a choir for our school programs.
